Anambra Court jails native doctor, Onyeze Jesus, for false claims of supernatural powers

An Anambra State High Court in Awka has sentenced self-acclaimed native doctor Onyebuchi Okocha, known as Onyeze Jesus, to six years in prison and a fine of ₦20 million for violating the Anambra Homeland Security Law. The court found him guilty of deceiving the public with false claims of supernatural powers and operating controversial rituals like Oke-Ite. The conviction is part of Governor Chukwuma Soludo's crackdown on fraudulent spiritual practices and criminal activities masked as religion or traditional worship.
