Anambra oil-bearing communities protest neglect, deplorable amenities, seek govt intervention

The Ogwuaniocha and Ogwuikpele communities in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State protested against the lack of basic amenities despite the presence of oil deposits. They accused the Anambra State Government and SEEPCO of neglect, calling for essential infrastructure such as schools and hospitals. The traditional ruler of Ogwuikpele expressed despair over the poor living conditions and urged federal and state governments to intervene urgently.
