Peter Obi, the Nigerian Democratic Congress presidential candidate, expressed anger over the recent attack on party supporters in Enugu, where NDC members were assaulted at the airport while welcoming their gubernatorial candidate, Chinyeaka Ohaa. The incident resulted in one death and follows a previous attack on NDC members a month earlier, allegedly by state-sponsored thugs.
