Anti-Counterfeit Authority Warns of Crackdown on Businesses Selling Fake Goods

The Anti-Counterfeit Authority (ACA) has warned of a nationwide crackdown on businesses dealing in counterfeit products, stating it can seize goods without a court order under the 2008 Act. The ACA raided a shop in Nairobi CBD belonging to Shiquo Hii Style, confiscating goods worth millions of shillings. The authority emphasized that counterfeit goods are destroyed or disposed of according to the law.
