APC Reps tickets: Protests, violence, disqualifications mar primaries

The APC House of Representatives primaries were marked by intrigues and protests across the country. Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike had the upper hand in the ticket battle in Rivers, while four aspirants close to Governor Siminalayi Fubara were disqualified. National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka announced that 14 aspirants were disqualified for failing to meet established screening criteria.
