APM Candidate Says Vote-Buying Won’t Work in 2027

Hon. Sunday Falae, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) senatorial candidate for Ondo Central, urged voters in Ondo State to reject vote-buying and vote according to their conscience in the 2027 general elections. He said dissatisfied voters may accept inducements but still choose their preferred candidates, potentially from different parties, in what he called a “Rainbow Coalition.” Falae also called for governors, senators and local officials to account for public funds, citing the Owena-Alade-Idanre road, which he alleged was paid for but never built. On the presidential race, he said the South-West should complete its eight-year tenure and named President Bola Tinubu and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, the APM’s presidential candidate, as possible contenders.
