APM Terminals Apapa records 6% export growth in H1 2026

APM Terminals Apapa, Nigeria's largest container terminal, recorded a six percent increase in export volumes in the first half of 2026. Terminal Managing Director Kamal Alhraishat attributed the growth to the resilience of Nigerian exporters and operational improvements aimed at facilitating export trade. Initiatives such as dedicated export lanes and a rail connection between Lagos and Ibadan have been introduced to enhance exporters' access to international markets.
