Arab Barometer: 59% of Moroccans Don’t See Iran’s Political Influence as Critical Threat

A majority of Moroccans, 59%, do not view Iran's political influence as a critical threat to their national security, according to a survey by the Arab Barometer conducted in fall 2025. Only 41% of Moroccans describe this influence as a threat, placing Morocco second-to-last among the seven countries surveyed. In contrast, 60% of Moroccans see Iran's nuclear program as a critical threat, which is also low compared to other countries in the region.
