Are Houthis using new modified cruise missiles in Yemen’s war?

The internationally recognized Yemeni government, backed by Saudi Arabia, alleges that the Houthis, supported by Iran, have modified Iranian air defense weapons into loitering cruise missiles with assistance from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. These missiles, which operate on a heat-tracking system, pose a threat to civilian air traffic over Yemen and the Red Sea. The Houthis have increased attacks on Saudi Arabia, intercepting six ballistic missiles aimed at Taif and Yanbu, and claiming attacks on sensitive targets in Riyadh and Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu.
