Arise TV's Rufai Oseni explains why Tinubu's petrol discount is fuel subsidy [VIDEO]

Rufai Oseni, an Arise News Television presenter, explained that the recent petrol price discount announced by the Nigerian government is effectively a reintroduction of fuel subsidy. He stated that forfeiting profits on a product for a specific purpose constitutes a form of subsidy, regardless of the amount. Oseni also referenced a proposal to sell crude oil to refiners at a capped price as another form of production subsidy.
