Armament: Russia Successfully Tests Kalibr Missiles from a Submarine

Russia conducted Kalibr missile launches from the submarine Ufa during an exercise in the Sea of Japan on September 17. Two training targets, one maritime and one coastal, were hit, with the first missile targeting a ship at 130 kilometers and the second reaching a target over 1,000 kilometers away in the Khabarovsk region. The Ufa, which entered service in November 2022, is part of the improved Kilo class and joined the Pacific Fleet in December 2024.
