Armed attack in Louga: a merchant shot, eight robbers take away 1.3 million FCFA

A merchant from Kamb, Cheikhou Mbathié, was seriously injured by gunfire during an armed attack at his home by eight masked assailants. The robbers, armed and in a 4x4 vehicle, stole 1.3 million FCFA before fleeing the scene. The victim was evacuated to the Dahra health center, while a national gendarmerie investigation was launched to track down the criminals.
