Armed commando attacks in Bakel, 3 Chinese shot, a large fortune stolen

On the night of August 25 to 26, a commando of six robbers attacked the Chinese mining company Agro Business in Kéniaba, in the Bakel department. Three Chinese employees were seriously injured by gunfire during the attack, and the robbers managed to steal 40 million CFA francs and four mobile phones. After their escape, the gendarmes opened an investigation and launched a manhunt for the assailants.
