Arms: Iran seeks advanced Geran drones from Russia, according to the Financial Times

Iran has requested Russia to supply advanced Geran drones for use in its war against Israel and the United States. The sought models, particularly the Geran-4 and Geran-5, feature enhanced characteristics compared to the earlier Shahed used by the Russian army. Military cooperation between Iran and Russia, which began before the Ukraine war, has intensified with the use of Iranian drones since 2022.
