Army announces live-fire exercise in Bauchi

The Nigerian Army has alerted residents of Bauchi State about a live-fire demonstration scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, along the Bauchi-Jos Road. The exercise, conducted by the Nigerian Army Armour School, will take place between 6 am and 6 pm and will involve troop movements and military hardware, as well as the use of live ammunition. Authorities advised farmers and cattle rearers to stay away from the training area to ensure their safety.
