Army debunks abduction at Yari’s residence

The Nigerian Army dismissed reports that a group of Islamic scholars were abducted at the residence of former Zamfara State Governor Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari. It confirmed that individuals were abducted while traveling from the Sububu forest towards Talata Mafara. Lt. Col. Olaniyi Osoba stated that the reports linking the abduction to Yari’s residence were misleading and false.
