Army warns of possible attacks on churches, schools

According to a document dated September 9, 2026, intelligence indicates increasing mobilization of resources by these groups, with particular concern for educational institutions ahead of the 2026/2027 academic session. The Army also reported movements of armed fighters towards Plateau State and surveillance activities on identified targets.
