Artificial Intelligence: 100 Young People Take Part in the First Edition of Vibeathon Côte d'Ivoire

On Saturday, July 11, 2026, Abidjan hosted the first edition of Vibeathon Côte d'Ivoire at the Ivorian-Korean Sports, Cultural and ICT Center Alassane Ouattara (CSCTICAO). One hundred young innovators, selected from 400 applicants, took part in a Vibe Coding competition on the theme 'Artificial Intelligence and Environment: Innovating for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future'. Team For Mind won the first prize of 1 million FCFA, followed by Coding Team (500,000 FCFA) and Agri-Fedag (300,000 FCFA). The Director General of Creativ'O stated that the event marks the beginning of a dynamic for the country's digital transformation.
