ASUU kicks as Adeleke extends UNIOSUN VC’s tenure

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has expressed concerns over the reported extension of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Clement Adebooye's tenure by Governor Ademola Adeleke. According to the university's establishment law, the Vice-Chancellor cannot be reappointed after a five-year term. ASUU Chairman Dr. Wende Olaosebikan stated that the reported extension is merely a rumor and that the beneficiary has not yet accepted the offer.
