At COP31, Togo to Present Green Investment Portfolio Worth CFAF 2.33 Trillion

Togo will present a portfolio of 43 green investment projects requiring $3.97 billion, or about CFAF 2.33 trillion, at COP31 in Turkey from November 9 to 20, 2026. The projects cover sustainable agriculture, forests and biodiversity, renewable energy, mobility, water, the circular economy, and coastal protection. The Environment Ministry aims to attract funding from banks, private investors, climate funds, and development partners. The investments could also help farmers adapt to climate hazards, support new businesses and jobs, and strengthen resilience in coastal areas.
