At least 141,000 improved stoves sold in seven years in the DRC thanks to the EnDev project

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, approximately 141,000 improved stoves have been sold over seven years thanks to the Energising Development (EnDev) project. Dieudonné Magene, the national coordinator of the program, emphasized that these stoves allow for savings and prevent health issues related to smoke. The project has also contributed to reducing deforestation and creating local jobs, with 18 producers and several supported businesses. Technical training has been provided to strengthen the economic capacities of local stakeholders.
