At least 43 dead in a week from attacks attributed to ADF in Mambasa (Civil Society)

Between August 27 and September 1, at least 43 civilians were killed in attacks attributed to ADF rebels in the Mambasa territory of Ituri. Fifteen villages, including Biamu and Mabakufa, were attacked, resulting in the burning of 53 houses and the displacement of many families. The violence disrupted the school year, forcing several schools to remain closed, while new incursions were reported in the neighboring Irumu territory.
