At least five killed in attack by rebel group in Sudan

At least five people, including a child, have been killed and several others injured after a Sudanese rebel group attacked residential areas in South Kordofan province. The Sudan Doctors Network accused the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) of carrying out the attack in Dilling, describing the bombardment as a clear violation of international humanitarian law. The recent violence comes despite a ceasefire initiative backed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
