At the UN General Assembly, Sudan denounces foreign interference

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohieldin Salim Ahmed Ibrahim criticized the United States for refusing to issue a visa to General Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan, preventing his attendance at the UN General Assembly. He called for an end to foreign support fueling the civil war in Sudan, including stopping the influx of weapons, munitions, and foreign fighters, and ensuring weapons remain under state control. The country is currently embroiled in a conflict between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
