At the UN, Niger Accuses France and Ukraine and Thanks Algeria

Niger's Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine accused France of destabilizing the Sahel with active complicity from Ukraine during his speech at the UN. He praised Algeria for its substantial support in resource exploitation, defense, health, education, energy, hydraulics, and agriculture, as well as major projects like the tripartite gas pipeline and the trans-Saharan road. Zeine also condemned what he called an attempt at re-colonization of the Sahel, linking the regional security crisis to the greed for natural resources and accusing France of destabilizing the region with Ukraine’s help.
