Atiku seeks court order to amend NYSC certificate forgery suit against Tinubu, APC

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the ADC presidential candidate, has applied for permission to amend his lawsuit against President Bola Tinubu and the APC at the Federal High Court in Abuja. He aims to make significant amendments to challenge Tinubu's eligibility for the 2027 presidential election, specifically regarding the NYSC discharge certificate submitted to INEC. Justice Inyang Ekwo scheduled October 13 for the hearing of this application, with Tinubu's legal team confirming their counter affidavit was served. Initially, Atiku and ADC sought to disqualify Tinubu and APC over alleged submission of a forged NYSC certificate, which the APC denies, requesting the court dismiss the case entirely.
