Atlas Lions to Gain From FIFA’s World Cup Prize Increase

Morocco could see its financial rewards at the 2026 World Cup increase as FIFA reviews prize money and participation fees for all 48 qualified nations. A FIFA Council meeting in Vancouver on April 28 is expected to finalize proposals, with a record prize pool of $727 million announced in December. The Atlas Lions, playing their seventh World Cup, will open their campaign against Brazil on June 13.
