Attempted coup in Madagascar: Prosecutor Rakotoniaina charges 13 suspects

Prosecutor Narindra Navalona Rakotoniaina announced the indictment of 13 individuals for attempted assassination against Colonel Michaël Randrianirina and for attempted coup d'état. Eleven suspects have been in provisional detention since March 31, while two others, including Colonel Patrick Rakotomamonjy, are on the run. Clandestine meetings and exchanges via SMS and WhatsApp were uncovered, along with the seizure of weapons and cash linked to a funding of 20 billion ariary.
