Aviation financing under pressure from forex, customs issues - Keyamo

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, expressed concerns over challenges in Nigeria's aviation financing, including customs issues and foreign exchange volatility. He assured stakeholders that the Federal Government is actively addressing these challenges through coordinated reforms. Keyamo noted that aviation growth in emerging markets like Nigeria is often constrained by limited access to affordable capital. Successful dry lease transactions have already been completed, indicating renewed confidence in the Nigerian aviation market.
