Awujale: Fusengbuwa Ruling House sues 12 members over leadership tussle, demands N1bn damages

Leaders of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House in Ijebu-Ode have filed a lawsuit against 12 family members in the Ogun State High Court over their alleged removal from leadership positions. The claimants, led by Abdulateef Owoyemi, are seeking N1 billion in damages for defamation and interference with the Awujale selection process. They allege that a breakaway group attempted to oust them during an unratified meeting, announcing their removal and notifying the governor of their supposed dismissal.
