Ayo, the mascot of Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, attends Youssou Ndour's Grand Ball at Bercy

Ayo, the official mascot of Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, attended Youssou Ndour's Grand Ball at Bercy to promote the international sporting event. Its presence aims to highlight the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympics to a Parisian audience, leveraging Youssou Ndour's fame as a Senegalese music icon. This initiative links Ndour's musical universe with the promotion of the Games, enhancing Dakar 2026's international visibility. Organizers hope to generate greater engagement for this historic event, the first Youth Olympics hosted on the African continent.
