Back to school in Gaza: Learning in tents after years of disruption

Rana Totah took her two sons to school in al-Katiba, Gaza City, after nearly three years of war and displacement. The Gaza Municipality set up a temporary school in about 10 tents to facilitate a return to face-to-face education. Despite the challenges of war, Totah tried to keep her children's education alive through informal initiatives, but survival often took precedence over learning.
