Back to School: Main d’Afrique NGO distributes 1,405 school kits in six villages in eastern Ivory Coast

From October 9 to 11, 2026, the NGO Main d’Afrique, led by Mrs. Koita née Kaboré Assétou, distributed 1,405 school kits to students from CP1 to CM2 in six villages in northern Ivory Coast to support rural families with school expenses. The mission also highlighted the poor condition of the Yaokro school, with dilapidated buildings, insufficient equipment, and a shortage of staff. The NGO president called for school rehabilitation and better learning conditions.
