Ballon d'Or 2026: Full list of African footballers nominated

Three African goalkeepers are nominated for the Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year award at the 2026 Ballon d'Or: Yassine Bounou (Morocco), Édouard Mendy (Senegal), and Vozinha (Cape Verde). Ayyoub Bouaddi, a Morocco-born midfielder at Manchester City, is also nominated for the Men’s Young Talent of the Year award. The Ballon d'Or ceremony is scheduled to take place in London on October 26, 2026.
