Ballon d’Or 2026: Giggs and other Manchester United and Arsenal legends name their picks

Asked by Rio Ferdinand to name their picks for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, several former Manchester United and Arsenal stars backed Lamine Yamal, including Ryan Giggs, Nemanja Vidic, John O’Shea, Ashley Cole and Gilberto Silva. Mikael Silvestre chose Michael Olise, while Louis Saha picked Kylian Mbappé and Dimitar Berbatov said he would go for Harry Kane. The winner will be announced later this month in London.
