Ballon d'Or 2026: Hakimi and five other PSG players will miss ceremony in London

Achraf Hakimi, Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Willian Pacho, Ferran Torres and João Neves are expected to miss Monday’s Ballon d’Or ceremony in London. Foot Mercato reports that their likely absence is due to PSG’s Ligue 1 match against Lyon being rescheduled for Monday, October 26. Injured Ousmane Dembélé, who is ruled out of the Lyon match, is still expected to attend and defend the award he won last year ahead of Lamine Yamal. Some PSG nominees also missed last year’s ceremony because of a domestic league match.
