Ballon d'Or 2026: Number of nominees, categories revealed ahead ceremony [Full list]

On September 8, the shortlists for the 12 categories of the Ballon d'Or 2026 will be announced. Among the categories are the Men's and Women's Ballon d'Or, each featuring 30 nominees, as well as the Men's Young Talent of the Year with 10 nominees and the Women's Young Talent of the Year with 5 nominees. The main ceremony will take place in London on October 26.
