Ballon d’Or 2026: Yamal charters private jet for London ceremony

Lamine Yamal has reportedly chartered a private jet to travel to London for Monday’s 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony with his family and close friends. Spanish journalist Víctor Navarro said the Barcelona winger arranged the trip separately from the club’s official delegation so his supporters could join him. Yamal finished second in the previous edition, which was won by Ousmane Dembélé, and also claimed the Kopa Trophy. He is expected to be among the leading contenders again this year.
