Bamenda: Woman shot dead in her bar by armed men on a motorcycle

At around 8 p.m., armed men arriving by motorcycle allegedly opened fire on Margaret, the proprietor of a bar near the Ntabessi gendarmerie brigade in Bamenda. Witnesses said they found her seriously wounded inside; she was still breathing, but residents could not find a motorcycle to take her to a health facility, and she later died of her injuries. The attackers’ identities and motive remain unknown. The incident follows a September 14 shooting at Back PMI that killed three people and wounded four.
