Bandits kill 11 in attack on Katsina community

At least 11 people were killed in a reprisal attack by suspected bandits in Kankia Local Government Area of Katsina State. The state's Commissioner for Internal Security, Dr. Nasir Mu’azu, confirmed that the violence followed a failed initial attack by the armed group. Security forces neutralized several bandits and recovered motorcycles and cattle, but the attackers regrouped and launched a fresh assault in Gwalgoro, killing 11 civilians.
