Bandits suffer loss as Army, DSS, volunteer forces foil attacks on Niger communities

Troops of the Nigerian Army, operatives of the Department of State Services, and local volunteer forces foiled a large-scale attack by bandits on Bagna and Erena communities in Shiroro LGA of Niger State. Security sources reported that over 300 armed bandits were ambushed, resulting in the deaths of many attackers. Residents expressed gratitude for the timely intervention of security operatives, which prevented a major disaster.
