Erin Piacenti, a vice president at Bank of America, died after being stabbed in Times Square, New York, during an afternoon attack on Monday. Police fatally shot the female suspect after she allegedly continued advancing towards them with knives. The attack appears to have been random and unprovoked, according to New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch. A 68-year-old man was also injured but is reported to be in stable condition.
