Bank of Baroda directors face contempt case in Sh2.2bn debt row

Bank of Baroda directors are facing contempt proceedings after Infinity Industrial Park accused them of using a Sh2.2 billion debt claim to take control of the company in breach of a court order. Infinity claims the bank appointed joint administrators on August 10, 2026, despite a High Court ruling barring interference with its property. The dispute originates from a Sh1.9 billion loan provided by the bank in 2019 to finance an industrial park project.
