Barau FC clinch maiden Kano State Federation Cup title

Barau FC has been crowned champion of the 2026 Kano State Federation Cup after defeating Bichi First FC 3-2 at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. This marks the first title in the history of the Maliya Boys. Bichi First FC had previously eliminated NPFL giants Kano Pillars from the competition. Barau FC and Bichi First FC will represent Kano State in the 2026 national President Federation Cup.
