Barkedji: A 45-Year-Old Mason Found Dead by Hanging, Investigation Opened

El Hadji Coundoul, a 45-year-old mason, was found dead by hanging in Barkedji, about two kilometers from the village, on Friday, April 24. The circumstances of his death are suspicious, as his mobile phones and wallet are missing, suggesting a possible murder disguised as suicide. The gendarmerie has opened an investigation, and the body has been transferred to Dakar for an autopsy.
