Bashir Ahmad calls for action against pastor over AK-47 remarks

Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential media aide in Nigeria, urged security agencies to act after a video of Pastor Jemimah David in Plateau State circulated online. In the video, she allegedly told young people to arm themselves with knives, machetes and AK-47 rifles for self-defence and to fight back when attacked. Ahmad called the remarks disturbing and contrasted the response with condemnation of an earlier video showing a young Muslim singing a song considered inciting. He called on security agencies to take appropriate action in accordance with the law.
