Basketball: the 43rd Congo Cup starts this Thursday in Kinshasa

The 43rd Congo Cup of basketball will kick off on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Martyrs Stadium gymnasium in Kinshasa. Four matches are scheduled for the opening day, including women's games between Corridor de l'Espoir and Simba, as well as ASB CNSS against BC Lupopo. In the men's category, BC FIPAM will face Maniema Union, followed by a match between BC ONATRA of Kinshasa and BC Mazembe of Lubumbashi. Twenty men's teams are divided into four groups, while ten women's teams are split into two groups.
