The 43rd edition of the Congo Cup of basketball for men concluded with BC Generation Espoir from Lubumbashi winning their first national title by defeating BC SCTP 65-61 in the final at the Stade des Martyrs gymnasium. After a tough quarter-final victory over the defending champion SCTP (42-40), Generation Espoir's determination led them to victory, marking a new era for the club and Katanga basketball. The final was highly competitive and celebrated as an historic moment for Congolese basketball.
