Batouri: a 38-year-old seamstress killed after a marital dispute

Majolie Moingué, a 38-year-old seamstress, had been living with Bergé Gombo for nearly two years. During the night, her ex-partner Hamadou Alidou, visiting his son, was allowed to stay on a sofa in the house. Around 1 a.m., a fight broke out between Majolie and Bergé Gombo, who was intoxicated and jealous, leading him to fatally stab Majolie with a knife. Gombo left the scene afterward, and an investigation has been launched to establish the exact circumstances of her death.
