Bauchi perm sec dies in Saudi Arabia during Hajj

Alhaji Shehu Yahaya Jalam, Permanent Secretary in the office of the Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, died at Al-Noor Hospital in Makkah after a brief illness. He played a key role in coordinating accommodation and feeding arrangements for Bauchi State pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj. Jalam was hospitalized after feeling unwell, and his condition worsened before he passed away in the intensive care unit.
